OCC Development: January - June 2014
A lot of work has been done on OCC during 2014. In case you weren't aware, the application has a 'change-log' that allows you to see what new work has been done. If you ever see the message "There's been some improvements to the OurCarClub system since you last visited. Learn more." on the top right side of your OCC home-page, that's where the Learn More link takes you.
Highlights from the first half of this year include:
390: New Feature Affiliates and other nominated accounts can be authorized to send messages to club broadcast email addresses. This makes it easy to record generic club accounts (i.e. secretary@myclub.com) and allow them to email members without needing to assign them to specific members.
388: Member List now supports display/filter of Member Group.
387: Assets now support recording of Stocktake quantities and a separate 'Current Value' field for recording depreciation.
384: New Feature Introduce Web Queries for all existing exports under the Data tab of the home page.
383: New Feature List views now provide a 'Page Lock' function. When activated all links in the data table automatically open in a separate window or tab, leaving the list page in place.
380: Improved handling of extended character sets for non-English languages
379: Improve Excel Web Query behaviour in Excel:mac and Excel 2010.
376: New Feature Introduce ability for emailing a receipt for attendees of future events
371: Admins can now more easily revoke OCC access from other members.
368: The list of OCC Users who will receive copies of emails sent to the club broadcast email address from unauthorised persons can now be managed.
366: New Feature Member Types now belong to a Member Group - an advanced feature suitable for clubs that operate sub-clubs or chapters and need to segment members for different email (and other) groups. It is also suitable for recording pseudo-members, such as non-club-member entrants in big club events.
362: Full Contact and Vehicle Info export now includes renewal amount, to make it more useful in renewal time Mail-Merge.
361: New Feature Users can now request a password reset for forgotten login details.
354: New Feature Direct download of Excel Web Query file available from 'More...' option on any List View.
